Our Waitress was a sweetheart. You could tell people liked working there. Seemed like a happy place.
We won't be back.
Classic Big Boy with onion rings and salad bar.
Big boy was substandard, 1/2 teaspoon of dressing, 1/8th piece of lettuce.
Very friendly staff. Very clean and organized. Great for yourself or whole family. Great atmosphere. However would be nice to see a lot more dinner options on menu. This is still one of our favorite local restaurants.
Good this time not so last time, we had to walk out because no one would wait on us.
The soup was cold, and the salad bar was room temperature.
But hey... it's a job right?
Food came out of kitchen really slow. We're used to the Big Boy in Port Huron, they're rocket speed. My husband's meal came a good 15 minutes after mine and our daughters. We were taking our last bites before he even got his food. That was awkward. It would have been nice if the waitress had brought him something off the salad bar, like a little plate of fruit to eat while he waited. There was definitely a mix-up in the kitchen that wasn't even acknowledge. Disappointing really.
Onion rings have a cake like breading and appeared to be baked not fried.
The server was nice, attentive and seemed to genuinely care unfortunately, that doesn't redeem the lack of food quality.
I fully understand the 70's are over and Big Boy is no longer quality but this particular visit can only be compared to as a trip to a more expensive Mcdonalds where the food is barley edible and the kids working simply don't care about the patrons.
